饒宗頤教授一向主張中國文化是會不斷向前的。新世紀已經邁入第二十年，香港大學饒宗頤學術館特別舉辦「明天更美好——饒宗頤教授吉語書畫展」，祝願中國文化在新的一年將有更大的發展。
這次的展品雖為數不多，但卻展示出饒教授在書畫上不斷創新的風格，而這個風格是饒教授在藝術創作上一向所堅持的。他認為這正是中國書畫文化的其中一個特徵。
藉著這個展覽，我們祝頌在新的一年大家都是勇猛精進、明天會更好！
Foreword
Professor Jao Tsung-i believed that Chinese culture is moving toward a brighter future. At the beginning of 2020, the exhibition “Tomorrow Will Be A Better Day: Auspicious Paintings and Calligraphy by Professor Jao Tsung-i” held by Jao Tsung-I Petite Ecole of The University of Hong Kong brings the best wishes for the greater development of Chinese culture in the new year.
The number of exhibits are not many this time, but they demonstrate Professor Jao’s innovative style, which was what he advocated and put into practice when creating artworks. For him, it was also one of the features in the culture of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Through this exhibition, we wish you making powerful progress in the new year and a better tomorrow!
